I have to start out telling a funny story about this weeks challenge....When Daisy released to the Design Team about the Tic Tac Toe of things....I was thinking she had some Tic Tac Toe papers...Well, I am looking everywhere for these papers! I said in our private group. I cant find these papers and I no ones projects are tic tac toe! Image what she must have been thinking when she read my post!!!!  Haha...She patiently explained it to me (probably rolling her eyes) lol. So, I decided that if she wanted Tic Tac Toe, she would get just that!  Hence, my project:

I bought what is actual a clock board for making a clock...It is an 8 x 8 pine board with a hole in the middle and already sanded.  I used a cross of masking tape to cover the top part of the hole before covering with paper.  I painted the sides overlapping the top of the board by about 1/8" with a coordinating colour.  I chose brown in this case.

Now comes the math. I had to figure out how big the 9 squares would be to evenly cover the board. But I did it!  Each square is 2 5/8" x 2 5/8".  I applied Mod Padge to glue down the pieces and then covered the top with 2 layers of Mod Podge, brushing in different directions.  I bought some wooden round, (sanded including the edges) discs. Painted with two coordinating colours and varnished with Mod Podge.  This board is perfect for those road trips with arguing siblings in the back seat.  No way to cheat at tic tac toe either.  I hope you guys like my project and hope you got a good laugh at my brief mental illness about the project...haha!  To find these and other papers by Daisy Collins go to the following link:
